There's a site called Project Rooftop (google it up) were artist summit design concepts for popular heroes. I really dug this site so decided to do one of my own .
Which one works? #1 was what I came up with inspired(stealing) from old 60's Japanese magazine covers. Then I felt a little avant garde and flipped the design. I like #2 but does it work for a cover design? Please let me know.
Sorry for the lack of blog this month. I've been having trouble with my wireless signal(not important). Also I've been very busy working on issue 5. Here is a sample of what the art will look like. Soon I'll show you("you"as in anyone) some background.
I am starting the 5th issue of The Devil's Mask. The plan is to give the book a whole new look(yup i just rhymed). In other words to make the art dissent.(yup that's putting it up a notch) I'm basically trying to resist to urge to cross-hatch.
I just went through a bad spyware problem and had to reformat my computer, everything is O.k now. So here is some of the many things I have in my sketch book. This a is a ink brush picture inspired by a good but cnacelled show Carnivàle.
Ninja Gaiden was a Nintendo game which was fun, long and challenging . Filled with awesome music and very cool cinematic scenes. Till this day I have not passed the game. I just want to see how the story ends.
So here is a tribute to a mountain yet to be climbed.
I like super hero's epecally my friend's (loo-bot) own character Mich Impossible. For the fun of it I started doodling a pictures of a alternate future version of him, and this is what I came up with.
